Driven by facilitating spaces that promote intercultural cooperation and learning to solve 21st-century challenges, Cristina Ruiz (EML'21) serves as Senior Associate Director for Georgetown University's Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) within the McDonough School of Business. In this role, Cristina leads the department's business operations, financial management, and communications, together with the strategic planning and oversight of LALP academic programs, alumni relations, publications, and new initiatives that advance Georgetown University's mission across the Ibero-America region. Preceding her active role in executive education, Cristina successfully spearheaded SPAIN arts&culture and educational projects across the United States for over a decade to promote intercultural understanding and exchange between Spain and the U.S. and between Europe and the Americas.

Cristina is a graduate of the Executive Master’s in Leadership Program (EML) of Georgetown University and holds an MBA degree from IE Business School and a B.A. and M.A. in Business and Economics from Pontificia de Comillas University (ICADE) in Spain.
