Gerard Mannion

Gerard Mannion is the Joseph and Winifred Amaturo Professor in Catholic Studies in the Department of Theology in the College and co-director of the Program on the Church and the World at the Berkley Center. Much of his work focuses on social ethics, institutional morality and ecclesiology, including the church’s interaction with secular and pluralist societies, as well ecumenical and interreligious dialogue. He has published widely in these fields as well as in wider questions in systematic theology and philosophy.
