James Raymond Vreeland is a professor of international relations in the School of Foreign Service and the Department of Government.
Major international activities include:
- Presented research in over 15 countries located in six different continents
- Authored books on economic development as well as foreign aid
- Has held affiliations with universities on five continents including Bond University (Australia), ESADE (Spain), ETH Zürich (Switzerland), Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany), Korea University (Korea), Peking University (China), Universidad Nacional de San Martín (Argentina), and University of São Paulo (Brazil)
- Published research on international organizations, including the IMF, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the African Development Bank, and the United Nations Security Council.
