The Department of French and Francophone Studies sponsors the Georgetown chapter of Pi Delta Phi: The National French Honor Society for Georgetown students. The society recognizes outstanding scholarship in the French languages and its works of literature and increases the knowledge and appreciation of Americans for the cultural contributions of the French-speaking world.
