For Generations to Come: The Campaign for Georgetown

For Generations to Come: The Campaign for Georgetown is the university's ambitious plan to advance its academic excellence, improve the quality of community life, and seize transformative opportunities as they arise.

Georgetown's identity as a great university is inextricably tied to our ability to ensure that the best students, regardless of socioeconomic status, can be here. Through the 1789 Scholarship Imperative, 1,789 scholarships averaging $25,000 will be given to undergraduates annually.

Georgetown recognizes that a core characteristic of a leading global university is a diverse student community. In order to attract a larger share of the world's most promising and ambitious young people, without regard for their financial circumstances, some of the funds raised to support undergraduate scholarship will also go to attracting the most talented students from outside the United States.

Additionally, the campaign will allow Georgetown to make key strategic investments in the university's greatest assets: faculty and academic excellence, student life and the overall community experience, and transformative opportunities to define the Georgetown of the future.
