Global Engagement Student Fund

The Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement provides limited funding for student-organized conferences or other programs on-campus with an international and academic dimension.

Award Details

The Global Engagement Student Fund will distribute up to $5,000 total, with a maximum award of $1,000 given to a single organization in a particular academic year. Awards will be available on a rolling basis for activities to be carried out within six months' time. All funds not used must be returned.

Requirements

Recognized student organizations on the Main Campus or in the Law or Medical Centers can apply.

Award-funded activities are to be carried out in compliance with all relevant university policies. Upon completion, awardees will submit a 300- to 400-word summary. A version of the summary may be published on the university website.

Application Process

Applicants must complete and submit the application form. Student organizations are encouraged to apply early in the planning process.

Award decisions will be made on a rolling basis, and applicants will usually be notified within two weeks of submission.
