Erin Sorrell is assistant research professor at the Georgetown University Medical Center in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and a member of the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She joined Georgetown University in 2016.
International activities include:
- Postdoctoral fellow at Erasmus Medical Center, in The Netherlands.
- Worked on foreign assistance activities in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa through the U.S. Department of State.
- Previously served as senior analyst in the Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction’s Biosecurity Engagement Program at the U.S. Department of State.
- Five-year term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
