Erin Sorrell is assistant research professor at the Medical Center in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and the Center for Global Health Science and Security. She joined Georgetown University in 2016.
International activities include:
- Postdoctoral fellow at Erasmus Medical Center, in The Netherlands.
- Worked on foreign assistance activities in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa through the U.S. Department of State.
- Previously served as senior analyst in the Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction’s Biosecurity Engagement Program at the U.S. Department of State.
- Five-year term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
