G. Kevin Donovan is the director of the Edmund D. Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics and a professor at Georgetown University Medical School in the Department of Pediatrics. He specializes in both pediatrics and bioethics.
His international activities include:
- Senior Clinical Scholar at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.
- Served as Chair of the Institutional Research Ethics Board for 17 years.
- Served as Chair of the bioethics section of the American Academy of Pediatrics and its Committee on Bioethics.
- Awarded the Humanism in Medicine award in 2005 from the Gold Foundation.
