Madeleine Albright

Madeleine Albright is the Mortara Distinguished Professor of Diplomacy and member of the faculty of the Mortara Center for International Studies in the School of Foreign Service.

International activities include:

  • Served under President Clinton as the twentieth U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations from 1993 to 1997 and the sixty-fourth Secretary of State from 1997 to 2001
  • Serves on the U.S. Department of Defense Policy Board and on the Boards of the Council on Foreign Relations
  • Author of five New York Times best-sellers
