Victoria Jennings is the director and principal investigator of the Institute for Reproductive Health and a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the School of Medicine. She is a member of the Georgetown India Initiative faculty committee and the Global Health Initiative faculty committee.
International activities include:
- Serves as principal investigator of the USAID-funded Fertility Awareness for Community Transformation Project.
- Developed the Standard Days Method® and TwoDay Method® of family planning, and invented the patented technology, CycleBeads®, used with SDM.
- Published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals on reproductive health and family planning, including best practices on their implementation and scale-up in Africa and South Asia.
- Serves on numerous technical and expert committees for the World Health Organization and USAID addressing gender, strategic scale-up of best practices, and implementation science.
