Summer in Quito, Ecuador: Race, Gender, and Ethnicity in Latin America

The Office of Global Education offers this credit-bearing, undergraduate summer study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador. Participants enroll in coursework taught by Georgetown faculty members and local instructors from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito and earn Georgetown credits. Students on this program take intensive Spanish language courses and study critical theories of race, gender, and culture alongside their intersection in Latin America.
