International students are a key component of Georgetown’s community. The university is home to over 2,000 international students from more than 120 countries. The Office of Global Services manages visa processes and other support services for international students.

Georgetown supports over 160 study abroad programs in 40 countries. The Office of Global Education is the main source of information on Georgetown-sponsored study abroad programs for undergraduates.
The co-curriculum also offers a wide array of global experiences. These opportunities allow students to enrich their studies beyond study abroad through work, service, and research around the world.
