HoyasForShe Student Fund
The Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement invites proposals for grants to fund student activities in support of the HoyasForShe movement, such as on-campus events, trainings, workshops, and other programming that advances the mission of gender equality and U.N. Women's HeForShe campaign. Grants are up to $1,000.
HeforShe is a United Nations campaign that aims to activate men and boys in the fight for gender equality. Since 2016 Georgetown has participated as a founding university IMPACT Champion.
Awards will be made on a rolling basis for activities to be carried out within six months time. All recognized student organizations can apply, and are eligible for up to one award per semester.
Award-funded activities are to be carried out in compliance with all relevant university policies. Upon completion of the funded activity, awardees will submit a 300-400 word summary. A version of the summary may be published on the university website.
Applicants must complete and submit an application form. Decisions will be announced within three weeks.
