In response to the threat of climate change, major energy companies, lenders and investors are exploring creative ways to adapt their core business: from reducing carbon emissions to diversifying through renewables and transforming infrastructure, logistics and distribution. In this discussion, Spencer Dale, BP group chief economist, and Victoria Attwood-Scott, global head of compliance at Mercuria Energy Trading, shared about the global energy transition and the new opportunities it is creating across the sector. David Gallagher and Geoff Morrell, members of the Georgetown University Board of Regents, moderated the conversation.

The webinar series is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement in collaboration with the Office of the Provost.
