Webinar Series for International Students and Alumni

At Georgetown and other universities the shift to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic posed multiple challenges—not least the maintenance of a vibrant sense of community in the absence of face-to-face interaction. The challenge of remaining connected was especially daunting for international students and alumni in different parts of the world.

In order to foster community and to benefit from the knowledge and perspectives of our more than 3,000 international undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, over the 2020-2021 academic year Georgetown organized a webinar series with faculty, industry leaders, and other experts on key global issues and career pathways. The webinars were hosted by members of the Georgetown University Board of Regents.

The webinar series was sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement in collaboration with the Office of the Provost.
