While every election matters, the 2020 presidential contest in the United States is unfolding during an unprecedented global health emergency and amid deep partisan divides across major issues from health care and the economy to civil rights, immigration, and national security. Georgetown professor and Washington Post syndicated columnist E.J. Dionne discussed what the stakes are this November and what a Biden presidency or a second Trump term might bring. This conversation was hosted by Phillip Fletcher, a member of the Georgetown University Board of Regents.

The webinar series is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement in collaboration with the Office of the Provost.
