The Georgetown University Library on the Main Campus comprises the Lauinger Library, Blommer Science Library, Woodstock Theological Library, Gelardin New Media Center, and the Booth Family Center for Special Collections. The flagship Lauinger Library, built in 1970,  currently holds over 2.3 million volumes.
