Andrew Bennett is a professor of international relations in the Department of Government in the College and the School of Foreign Service. He joined the Georgetown faculty in 1990.
Major international activities include:
- Teaches summer Ph.D. courses in case study research methods at the University of Oslo and the University of St. Gallen
- Served as an advisor on foreign policy issues for several Democratic Presidential candidates since 1984
- Served as a Council on Foreign Relations international affairs fellow and special assistant to the assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs, Joseph S. Nye Jr. from 1994 to 1995
- Published op-eds to the New York Times and the Christian Science Monitor and has appeared on CNN, Fox News, and NPR as a foreign affairs expert
