Franck Wiebe is a professor of the practice of public policy and the academic director of the Master in International Development Policy Program in the McCourt School of Public Policy. He joined the Georgetown faculty in 2012.
International activities include:
- Served as chief economist of the Asia Foundation and as chief economist at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, where he contributed to the Presidential Policy Directive on Development in 2010
- Acted as a consultant for the Harvard Institute for International Development to conduct research on poverty, trade, food, and social welfare policies with the Indonesian Ministry of Finance
- Currently is a visiting fellow at the Center for Global Development
