Michael Stoto is a professor in the Department of Health Systems Administration in the School of Nursing & Health Studies, with secondary appointments in the Georgetown University Law Center and the Department of Family Medicine. He is also a faculty associate of the Georgetown Center for Global Health Science and Security.
International activities include:
- Worked as a senior statistician at the RAND Corporation and the associate director for public health in the Center for Domestic and International Health Security
- Worked with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) to develop a training program on emergency preparedness for national officials in the European Union
- Was a participant in the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues faculty research group on global health
- Authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, books, and reports
