U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative Student Leaders Program
The Center for Intercultural Education and Development (CIED), the Department of Government, and the Center for Social Justice co-sponsor this summer program for students from the Middle East and North Africa in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs. Undergraduate student leaders from the Middle East and North Africa spend six weeks in this exchange program developing leadership skills and expanding their understanding of civil society and democratic leadership. Following the exchange, CIED supports students as they apply what they have learned in their home communities.
