Sam Halabi

Sam Halabi is a professor in the School of Health and director of the Center for Transformational Health Law at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. He joined Georgetown University's faculty in 2023 from the Colorado School of Public Health and Colorado State University, where he served as senior associate vice-president for health policy and ethics. His research focuses on the law and ethics of pandemic preparedness and universal health coverage including laws governing health and One Health workforce, promoting access to medicines and vaccines (including clinical trials), and incorporating maternal and infant care into health law reforms in low- and middle-income countries.
