Sylvia Onder
Sylvia Önder is a teaching professor of Turkish in the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies as well as in the Department of Anthropology. She is a faculty fellow in the Center for Social Justice and in the Disability Studies Working Group. She serves on the Board of the American Research Institute in Turkey and as a member of the Board of the Institute of Turkish Studies. She is the director of the Turkish Program in the College of Arts & Sciences. She joined the Georgetown faculty in 1998.
