Billy Jack is a professor in the Department of Economics in the College and co-director of the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development and Evaluation, or gui2de.
International activities include:
- Serves on the board of directors of Georgetown East Africa, the university's first overseas research office, operating out of Nairobi, Kenya.
- Served as an economist at the International Monetary Fund and the U.S. Congress, and has taught and conducted research in Kenya, among other countries.
- Has authored one book and over 50 papers and reports in the fields of applied microeconomic theory, health economics, public economics, and development economics.
